About the Academy

I am Roshini Srinivasan, a disciple of Karaikudi M. S. Mani Iyer, and a lifelong learner and practitioner of Carnatic Music for over 19 years.

For the past 6 years, I have taught 300+ students across 32 countries, ranging from 3-year-old beginners to a 90-year-old doctor from the US. Each student’s journey has shaped not just my teaching—but my philosophy.

Music education today is different from what it was a decade ago. My students include school-going children, working professionals, parents, homemakers, retirees, and senior citizens. I teach by understanding not just a student’s voice—but their lifestyle, time constraints, responsibilities, and emotional bandwidth.

My teaching has evolved into a research-driven, highly personalised model:

• Customised lessons
• Flexible schedules across time zones
• Adaptation to exams, holidays, and life commitments

A complicated lifestyle should never become a barrier to pursuing one’s passion for music.

Beyond teaching, my role is to support, motivate, adapt, and inspire—keeping the spark for music alive even with limited practice time.

Guided by this vision, and supported by a team of like-minded educators, I am building a global community of music lovers—one that goes beyond conventional music classes.
